Rode to Washington MO the hilly way (Clayton Rd, 109, 100, Highway T), then home the flatter way (MO Bottom Rd, Katy Trail, Monarch Levy Trail, Clayton Rd). Lots of hills on Highway T. Managed 43.4mph down one hill! Carry out coffee and cinnamon roll from Undergrounds in Washington. Katy Trail was rather busy, lots of Pedal the Cause groups riding. Stopped in Chesterhood for a bathroom break. Two loops of Wilshire Terrace to get to 100 miles. Solo.

This was a the Hilly Day, managed 39.7mph down one big hill! Ran into some chip-n-seal, feels like you are riding on marbles. Mark had a couple of flats on his rear tire so we stopped to fix that. Lunch was outside at Lewis and Clark Community College. The route featured lots of rolling hills and a big climb up the bluff from the Great River Road just east of Elsa IL. Attendance was down a bit this year due to COVID-19. Finished about 5pm. With Mark Weaver, Bob Nathe. Lewis and Clark CC Godfrey IL.

We did a big 25 loop twice on the 100 mile route. Finished about 4pm. Few people at finish area but they did cheer our finish. With Mark Weaver. Lewis and Clark CC Godfrey IL.
